About the role
This facility is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens support to fill a current need. The practice setting is the Emergency Department.
Responsibilities
- Manage general emergency medicine cases, adult medical emergencies, blunt trauma, and limited pediatric cases.
- Perform emergency procedures including intubation, central line placement, chest tube insertion, lumbar puncture, and ultrasound-guided interventions.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration.
- Willingness to obtain state license.
- Credentialing timeframe of 60‑120 days.
- Experience with Epic electronic medical record.
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
Skills
- Proficiency in emergency procedures (intubation, central lines, chest tubes, lumbar punctures).
- Ultrasound experience preferred.
