Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant in Gilbert, AZ - 62208BR

About the role

This is a PRN opportunity for a physician assistant to join the emergency department team in the observation unit at Banner Gateway Medical Center in Gilbert, Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Work in close collaboration with the ED, consultants, support staff of the unit, and Banner administrative physicians.
• Treatment of a variety of cases including cardiac, neurological, surgical, medical, trauma, overdoses, and psychiatric disorders.
• 24/7 supervising physician oversight and on-site EM physician and hospitalist in-house coverage.

Requirements

• Significant clinical experience in emergency medicine, hospital medicine, cardiology, or critical care as a PA.
• ACLS certification.
• Not considering new graduates at this time.

Qualifications

• Arizona PA license.
• Current DEA registration.

• Shift Times: 7am to 4pm and 4pm to 12am at Gateway;
• 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am at Baywood.
