Emergency Medicine - Physician Assistant

About the role

Mid-Atlantic Emergency Medical Associates, PLLC (MEMA) is seeking experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants to join their team. MEMA is a fast-growing, independently owned and managed emergency medicine practice that staffs the emergency departments of five hospitals for Novant Health in the Charlotte region of North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries
• Perform diagnostic procedures and interpret results
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
• Document patient encounters accurately and maintain medical records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development

Requirements

• Current PA license in North Carolina
• At least 2 years of experience in Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passing score on the National Certifying Exam

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Completion of a certified Physician Assistant program
• Experience in emergency medicine or urgent care settings
