The Department of Emergency Medicine at Boston Medical Center Health System (BMCHS) and Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine (BUCAMED) seeks applications for Emergency Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.

About the role

We are seeking candidates with experience and interest in working across both academic and community settings, and who are committed to building strong partnerships between these environments. As an integrated health system, we provide emergency services across three emergency departments: BMC Main, BMC South, and BMC Brighton.

Responsibilities

  • Practice and learn at all three clinical sites of BMC EM residency program
  • Contribute to the mission of providing consistently excellent and accessible health services to all in need
  • Collaborate with faculty and fellows in a diverse and dynamic environment
  • Participate in research and teaching activities

Requirements

  • Completion of an ACGME-approved Emergency Medicine residency
  • ABEM/AOBEM certification or eligibility
  • Meet requirements for and obtain Massachusetts Medical Licensure and clinical privileges in Emergency Medicine at Boston Medical Center Health System
  • MD/DO degree required

Pay

The salary range for this position is $112,000.00 - $162,500.00, based on the minimum job qualifications. BMCHS offers a comprehensive approach to determining base pay, which considers education, experience, skills, and certifications/licensures relevant to the position requirements, as well as business/organizational needs, internal equity, and market competitiveness.
