About the role
Join our close-knit team of 6 physicians and 3 APPs at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. The team manages 17,000 ED visits annually and operates in a state-of-the-art hospital with a 17-bed ED. You will be accountable to a local medical director who understands the community and supports Sound’s leadership development tools.
Qualifications
- Board-certified/eligible nurse practitioners.
- 1-2 years of experience in the emergency room.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Provide frontline triage services and attend to patients categorized as 5s, 4s, and vertical 3s in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Utilize Cerner EMR.
Scheduling
- 12-hour shifts – 10a-10p; 120 hours/month.
- 2 12-hour MD shifts daily from 6 AM- 6 PM; 12 hours APP coverage; coverage may increase with patient volume.
