Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, and chronic illnesses
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations across the lifespan
- Manage urgent and emergent care needs
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Clinical Scope
- Suturing and minor procedures
- Management of uncomplicated fractures
- Emergency stabilization and acute care
- Use of diagnostic tools such as EKG, ultrasound, X-ray, and lab services
- Care for adult and geriatric populations
- Providers typically see between 5-10 patients per day
Qualifications
- Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active, unrestricted NP or PA-C license in any U.S. state
- DEA license
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, ATLS, PALS
- Strong commitment to serving rural and underserved populations
- Collaborative, mission-driven mindset
