About the Role
SageWest Health Care - Riverton Campus in Riverton, Wyoming, is seeking a Medical Director for their emergency department. This Level III trauma center has an average annual volume of 12,000 patients, with a 16% admit rate and 8% transfer rate. Physicians work 12-hour shifts and cover floor codes using the MedHost EMR.
You will see a variety of cases from trauma to illness, treating patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric. The emergency department is supported by local trauma surgeons and a strong, experienced nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Board certified/prepared in emergency medicine, or
- Board certified/eligible in a primary care specialty with emergency medicine experience
