About the role
The University of California San Francisco, Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking full-time faculty members who are ultrasound fellowship-trained, clinically-focused, and have significant contributions to emergency ultrasound education and scholarship.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the emergency ultrasound section to provide innovative POCUS education to students, trainees, and faculty.
- Contribute to emergency ultrasound research and scholarship.
- Lead and mentor emergency ultrasound education initiatives.
- Participate in the department's residency and fellowship programs.
Requirements
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine.
- Passionate about emergency ultrasound education and scholarship.
- Strong ethic of service to patients and profession.
Qualifications
- Experience in emergency ultrasound education and research.
- Excellent bedside teaching skills.
- Leadership experience in emergency medicine.
Skills
- Proficiency in emergency ultrasound techniques.
- Ability to teach and mentor emergency medicine residents and fellows.

Pay
- The minimum base salary range for this position is $154,700-$405,900.
- Additional compensation available through the health sciences compensation plan.
