Emergency Medicine Clinical Nurse - Nights

About the role

Provides direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family-centered care, educates patients on managing their condition, and advocates for safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Develops and documents individualized care plans collaboratively, ensuring effective communication across care teams.
• Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs, considering patient preferences and barriers to involvement.
• Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and educate patients and families.
• Participate in quality and safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with interprofessional teams to ensure holistic care.
• Committed to ongoing professional development and adherence to care standards.

Requirements

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• RN licensure.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Less than two years of experience required.
• No prior supervisor experience needed.
• Must be able to work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safety at all times.
