About the Role
VEA Health is seeking a full-time Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join a growing emergency department at Val Verde Regional Medical Center in Del Rio, Texas. This position offers the chance to work in a supportive Level IV Trauma Center with strong specialty backup and a committed care team.
Qualifications
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Emergency Medicine, or Board-Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with ER experience
- ACLS, PALS, and ATLS preferred
- ATLS not required for Board-Certified Emergency Medicine physicians
- Spanish fluency a plus
Responsibilities & Department Details
- 12 ED beds
- Level IV Trauma Center
- Full-time schedule of 120 hours per month
- 12-hour shifts: 7a–7p or 7p–7a
- Excellent multi-specialty backup and nursing support
