About the Organization
The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. (TPMG) is a physician-led, nonprofit organization serving the East Bay area, including the flagship Oakland Medical Center and Richmond Medical Center. The East Bay service area covers 12 cities and municipalities within Alameda County and the western section of Contra Costa County, serving over a quarter of a million members yearly with a team of about 700 physicians and 5,600 employees.
Founded in 1945, Kaiser Permanente pioneered prepaid health care services and continues to lead with innovation. About the Role
TPMG is seeking physicians who are board certified or board eligible by an American Medical Specialty Board. The practice emphasizes work-life balance, flexible schedules, and unmatched support, allowing physicians to focus on patient care without managing overhead, billing, or RVU-based metrics.
The organization utilizes AI-based charting and an advanced electronic medical record system to enhance patient management and practice flexibility.
