About the Role

We are seeking temporary physicians to provide coverage at regional hospitals in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. The immediate need is at Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital in Rhinelander, WI. Most shifts involve single coverage with some overlap, and double coverage with two APCs. The admission rate is approximately 20%, with over 20 shifts available per month. We are flexible with the number of locum tenens providers.

Two smaller critical access hospitals are located within thirty minutes. This opportunity is ideal for providers who love the outdoors, offering access to lakes, hiking, birdwatching, snowshoeing, downhill and cross-country skiing, and ice fishing.

Requirements

• Clean NPDB/file
• Act 10 acceptable
• Local or Midwest-based providers strongly preferred to reduce winter travel issues

Pay

Orientation rate: $150/hour.
