About the Role

Join our Emergency Medicine team at Overlook Medical Center's Union Campus as a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a newly renovated Emergency Department.

Requirements

• Two years of emergency medicine and/or urgent care experience

Position Profile

• 36,000 visits annually
• 23 ED beds and 3 additional patient care spaces
• Epic EMR & Ambient Ai
• Dedicated daily emergency medicine physician & APP coverage (no overnight APP shift)
• On-site radiology services, including MRI, CT, ultrasound
• Dedicated ED pharmacist and Respiratory therapist on weekdays during peak hours

• 10,000+ square-foot renovation
• Expanded capacity
• Redesigned nurses' station with a larger central medication room and improved visibility of patient care areas
• Updated assessment, triage, and lobby spaces to enhance patient flow
• Expanded on-site laboratory with additional space and equipment
• Upgraded Philips patient monitoring system throughout the department
• Added privacy partitions between treatment bays to improve the patient experience
• Dedicated alcoves for equipment storage and nourishment areas
• Private rooms equipped with negative exhaust capability to help manage airborne illnesses
• Smooth transfers to other AHS facilities
