BASIC FUNCTION

Under administrative leadership, adjunct instructors are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs and courses to support the college's vision, mission, and values.

• Evaluation of Students
• Curriculum - Responsibility of Full-Time Faculty
• Classroom Responsibilities
• Student Advising - Responsibility of Full-Time Faculty
• Professional Development - Responsibility of Full-Time Faculty

Additional Responsibilities

• Abide by department regulations
• Advise Supervisor of unsafe conditions
• Fulfill obligations under the Collective Bargaining Agreement
• Keep official records and submit them in accordance with college procedures

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree(s) or higher and two years of professional experience, or
• Associate degree(s) and six years of professional experience, with professional experience directly related to the teaching assignment
