Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

Requirements

• EMT license in the State of Georgia
• Minimum of 1 year of experience and BLS required
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs and have the strength to push & pull and stand for long periods

Responsibilities

• Assessment & triage
• Aid in providing age-appropriate patient care as per guests’ needs
• Show competency in Assessment and basic EMT skills

Schedule

The department shall determine the shifts to be worked and shall not guarantee any minimum number of shifts or hours. Shift assignments may include 8-12 hour shifts, based on department need. Shifts are based solely on the staffing needs at the shelter and not the supplier staff preferences.
