Responsibilities

  • Performs primary job responsibilities listed for Emergency Medical Technician to include response, patient assessment, vital signs, patient monitoring and diagnostics, patient moving and lifting, medication administration.
  • Maintaining Equipment in proper working order
  • Daily cleaning to include mandatory weekly disinfecting of ambulances/equipment and station.
  • Report writing and documentation

Qualifications

  • High School or GED

Skills

Specialized knowledge includes patient assessment skills, airway management, bleeding control, splint application, knowledge of equipment, protocols, scope of practice, and administration of EMT level medications.
