Job Summary

Performs and assists with general basic life support patient care. Assumes responsibility for the operation and maintenance of emergency vehicles.

Qualifications

  • Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Required License: North Carolina EMT certification, completes and maintains continuing education or recertification class as required by NC OEMS.
  • North Carolina driver's license and must meet insurance guidelines
  • Must have a valid NC driver’s license or procure one within 30 days of employment
  • Must be at least 21 years of age to meet the Mission Health established insurance guidelines
  • Preferred Experience: Two years of full-time active pre-hospital care or equivalent and emergency vehicle driving
