Emergency Hire - Custodian - Facilities Management and Development

Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain assigned areas, including dusting and cleaning all surfaces
- Remove trash and recyclables
- Clean and disinfect restrooms and replenish supplies
- Clean glass doors, windows, and blinds
- Remove graffiti
- Clean furniture and upholstery
- Clean light fixtures
- Polish woodwork and metal surfaces
- Clean stairwells, walkways, and elevators
- Perform general housekeeping
- Sweep, vacuum, spot clean, and fully clean carpets
- Provide custodial support, including responding to custodial/clean emergencies
- Serve as a special event custodian; participate in campus event set-up and clean-up
Requirements
- Any combination of training, experience, and/or education sufficient to demonstrate the required skills
- Possession of a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain one by date of hire
Schedule
- Option 1: Monday - Thursday, 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM; Friday 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM
- Option 2: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 PM - 3:30 AM; Friday 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM
Pay
Anticipated Hiring Range: $19.97 - $22.05 per hour
Classification Range: $19.97 - $27.42 per hour
