About the role

Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Emergency Department Technician for our Emergency Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

Responsibilities

• Role-model positive customer service behaviors through the consistent application of AHC’s values and mission principles and hold self and others accountable
• Follow the care plan as established and delegated by the Registered Nurse, receive report from the Registered Nurse, and ensure a culture of safety and an unwavering focus on excellence.
• Work alongside the RN to promote cohesive work teams and professionally collaborate with other departments to provide patient-centered care.
• Commit to personal and professional development and willingness to explore new knowledge and ideas and participate in department and organizational education programs, meetings, committees, and professional initiatives.
• Identify and appropriately utilize resources necessary for safe delivery of patient care, report malfunctioning/expired equipment and supplies, and ensure work areas and equipment are cleaned and stored appropriately.
