Emergency Department Technician (Swedish Mill Creek)
About the role
The Emergency Department Technician provides support to the Emergency Department (ED) Nursing and Licensed Independent Practitioner (LIP) staff by performing tasks that assist in the care and treatment of patients with illnesses and injuries. Serves as a liaison among members of the healthcare team, patients, and families. Organizes, replaces, and maintains inventory and supply levels in the Department. Assists in other department-related activities.

Responsibilities
- Support ED Nursing and LIP staff in patient care and treatment.
- Act as a liaison among healthcare team members, patients, and families.
- Organize, replace, and maintain inventory and supply levels in the Emergency Department.
- Assist in other department-related activities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification, or Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License, or Washington Nursing Assistant Registered.
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
Qualifications
- Training in orthopedic technology desirable.
- Two years of EMT and/or two years of Emergency Department experience.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $31.68 - $47.05 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
Schedule
Full time, Night shift.
