About the role
The Emergency Department Technician supports the Emergency Department (ED) Nursing and Licensed Independent Practitioner (LIP) staff by performing tasks that assist in the care and treatment of patients with illnesses and injuries. They serve as a liaison among members of the healthcare team, patients, and families.
Responsibilities
- Serves as a liaison among members of the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Organizes, replaces, and maintains inventory and supply levels in the Department.
- Affords assistance in other department-related activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification upon hire.
- Washington Nursing Assistant Certification upon hire.
- Licensed or Registered Nurse upon hire.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association certification upon hire.
Qualifications
- Coursework/Training: Training in orthopedic technology.
- Two years of EMT and/or Emergency Department experience preferred.

Base pay range: $30.91 - $45.90. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
