About the role

The Patient Care Technician provides routine patient care within their training and certification, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties related to caring for hospitalized patients
• Support the healthcare team
• Ensure patient needs are met

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Clinical experience such as EMT or Nurse Assistant is necessary
• Must obtain and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within two weeks of hire (certification from AHA or Red Cross)
