Emergency Department Physician (MD/DO) – MUSC Health Orangeburg Medical Center – Orangeburg, SC
About the role
In this role, you’ll receive support from a tight-knit clinician team and sub-specialty expertise. You’ll have multiple shift options, Advanced Practice Provider support and dedicated ED nurses who provide expert compassionate care. Our growing team sees more than 62,000 patients annually. We provide expert care for complex medical problems, injuries, life-threatening illnesses, heart attacks and strokes. Our Orangeburg facilities anchor the northern region of the MUSC Health Charleston Division.
Responsibilities
- Manage diverse, high-acuity cases with MUSC's cutting-edge resources and expertise
- Hiring all shifts: 8, 10, or 12 hours; all available
- Potential to rotate at different sites as the MUSC Health system continues to expand
- APP support and outstanding nursing care
- High-quality and responsive lab and imaging services
- Multi-specialty support for patient care needs
Qualifications
- ABEM BC/BE preferred
- Accredited medical school and ACGME residency graduation
- Unrestricted SC licensure and controlled substance registration
