Emergency Department Nurse - Night Shift

About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. The nurse will promote patient and family-centered care, educate on illness management, and support safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Collaboration with healthcare team members and proactive communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with clear goals.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.
• Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and medication administration.
• Participate in activities to ensure safety, quality, and compliance, and engage in professional development.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree and RN license.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and two years of experience (preferred).
• Experience in emergency or EMT settings is advantageous.
