About the Role
Emergency Department Medical Technician providing rapid, high-quality patient care in urgent situations.
Responsibilities
- Independently perform patient care tasks such as phlebotomy, EKG, wound care, specimen collection, and equipment setup.
- Assist RNs with procedures, patient hygiene, transfers, and comfort.
- Support safety, sanitation, and quality improvement activities.
- Handle supplies, process orders, and participate in training and administrative duties.
- Provide direct and indirect patient care, operate medical equipment, and assist with procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Requirements
- Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.
- Experience in acute healthcare and basic arrhythmia interpretation preferred.
- Certifications required: EMT, CNA, or equivalent, along with BLS certification.
- Capable of medium physical work, including lifting up to 32 lbs.
Schedule
Flexible shift work with weekend rotation.
