Emergency Department Clinical Nurse - Evenings

About the role

This role involves providing direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Promoting patient and family-centered care in a healing environment
• Educating patients and families on managing illnesses, injuries, medication administration, and post-treatment care
• Participating in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, as well as ongoing professional development
• Developing, implementing, and documenting individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and caregivers
• Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree in Nursing
• Current RN licensure
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience
• Ability to work safely and maintain alertness, as this is a safety-sensitive position
