About the role
We are seeking an Emergency Department Charge Nurse (RN) to lead and coordinate patient care in an ED setting.
Responsibilities
- Assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans
- Facilitating communication and collaboration with the interprofessional team, patients, and families
- Leading practice improvements based on evidence and quality standards
- Evaluating patient and family experiences to enhance satisfaction and safety
- Acting as a clinical resource and guiding staff during shifts
- Ensuring adherence to safety protocols in a safety-sensitive role
Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- 2-5 years of nursing experience, with a preference for 5-10 years
- Minimum education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
- Strong clinical knowledge, leadership, and evidence-based practice skills
