RN Charge Nurse Leader - Emergency Room

Responsibilities

• Assessment, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of patient-centered care.
• Facilitate, precept, and mentor staff and team members for professional growth and skill advancement.
• Assess unit needs to ensure adequate resources for shifts, collaborating with other departments and clinical/non-clinical teams.
• Coordinate timely admissions, transfers, and discharges of patients.
• Demonstrate professionalism, meet regulatory and policy requirements, adhere to standards of practice, and hold team members accountable for safe, competent practice, quality care, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required within 3 years of hire.
• Registered Nurse; Current RN licensure in the state of Ohio.
• Minimum of 1 years clinical nursing experience.
• CPR required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC per unit requirement (if required and not current, must be obtained within 6 months of employment).
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities.
• Demonstrated professional and ethical behavior.
• Passionate about nursing and teamwork.
