Emergency Coordinator I - Part Time
Job Duties
Provide positive customer service and service recovery interactions for the hospital that disseminates routine and emergency incident information, provides access control assistance, and initial or follow-up direction to employees, patients, visitors, contractors, public safety and government officials, etc.
Provide routine and emergency operational communication services via phone, two-way radio, overhead pages, e-mail, fax, and pagers, etc., to assist in the coordination of routine, heightened sensitivity situations, and emergency response efforts.
After hours, weekends and holiday assistance in the patient admission/discharge.
Manage access control program management.
Provide administrative and record keeping services for the Information Center.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in customer service or help desk capacity with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
- Bilingual in English and another language.
- Certification in MS Office or other computer programs used in the Information Center.
- Higher education in a customer service or a healthcare related field.
