Responsibilities
- Operate semiautomatic sewing machine with multiple-sewing heads to embroider names, letters, or decorative designs/logos on fronts, backs, middles, peaks, and other panels
- Read work order to determine type and location of embroidery, as well as thread colors and color sequence needed
- Count parts, check for cloth defects, check for proper taping and cover stitches, and separate parts by sizes
- Place spools of thread on the required spindle of each sewing head and draw thread through the machine, guides, tensions, and eye of the needle while adjusting thread tension by turning appropriate knobs to the left or right on the front of each sewing head
- Perform regular thread and needle changes, as necessary
- Determine start/finish point and foam requirements using the tape instruction sheet and tape sample
- Retrieve applicable embroidery file noted on work order and loads it into embroidery machine
- Keep all sensitive matters confidential
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Sewing skills preferred

- Proven attention to detail and accuracy
Qualifications
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
- Ability to perform basic Mathematical skills and ability to read and understand measurements
- Ability to walk and stand for an 8-hour shift
- Ability to repetitively lift, carry, and position objects weighing up to 30 lbs
- Able to work overtime, including Saturdays if needed
- Able to wear all necessary personal protective equipment to perform job functions (appropriate footwear)

The location for this position is 100% on-site in Miami, FL.
Pay
The hourly range for this posted position is $15/hr (plus bonus & benefits) and pertains to candidates located in Miami, FL. Actual compensation will fall within this range and is determined by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, education, essential job duties and requirements, and necessary experience.
