Embroidery Machine Operator
Greater Pittsburgh Specialty Advertising (GPSA) is a family-owned apparel decorator and team outfitter with embroidery and screen-printing operations located in Millvale. For 30 years, we've been delivering high-quality products with outstanding customer service to successful schools, companies, and organizations across Western Pennsylvania.
About the role
We're looking for a self-motivated, quality-conscious Embroidery Machine Operator with embroidery and/or commercial sewing experience for this full-time, weekday, daylight position.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently operate Tajima 8-head embroidery machinery on a daily basis
- Embroider apparel and miscellaneous other items to fulfill customer orders
- Operate sewing machines to apply patches and other decorations to apparel as needed
- Ensure items are embroidered with correct logos and colors as noted on work orders
- Trim, fold, bag, and box embroidered apparel as needed
- Perform quality control on the apparel; organize, pack, and prepare boxes for shipment
- Maintain a neat, orderly, and safe work area
Requirements
- Basic reading and math skills
- Good verbal, written, and team communication skills
- Embroidery and/or sewing experience

Pay
We anticipate offering a starting wage of $16 to $19 per hour, very flexible based on experience.
Schedule
Full-time, weekday, daylight (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM).
Getting to GPSA is easy; we're located in Millvale, close to Pittsburgh's North Shore and directly across the river from Lawrenceville, just off the Millvale exit from Route 28. Public transportation is readily available.
