ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read, understand and follow work orders.
- Observe the machine during operation, ensuring designs are embroidered correctly and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Save the digitized files & routinely back up the computer(s).
- Keep embroidery production supply inventory organized.
- Examine work for quality and report any defects.
- Maintain the machine: This includes tasks like threading, oiling, cleaning, and performing basic maintenance to keep the machine running smoothly.
- Work with Graphic Arts department in reviewing material swatches and to test digitized logos.
- Cross train on various manufacturing operations to allow flexibility within lines.
- Attend production meetings as required.
- Work efficiently to meet production goals and customer expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Read and understand English and be familiar with industry, norms, standards, applications, language, and terminology.
- Attention to detail and knowledge of different fabrics and thread types are crucial for producing high-quality embroidery.
- Experience with Melco Embroidery Equipment.
- Experience with Design Shop 10 embroidery software.
- Basic Computer Skills.
- Ability to measure.
- Ability to effectively and comfortably communicate with co-workers.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate under pressure and time constraints.
- Be comfortable on your feet for the duration of your shift.
- Be able to lift up to 50lbs.
