Responsibilities

• Replacing or repairing parts
• Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Performing inspections on sophisticated civilian aircraft
• Performing general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems
• Removal and installation of panels and components
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving aircraft system/component issues
• De-fueling aircraft
• Engine removal/installations
• Operating ground support equipment
• Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components
• Aircraft movement and assistance in performance runs/taxiing
• Maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment, and tooling
• Basic computer skills to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases
• Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English
• Other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Requirements

• A High school diploma or equivalent
• A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory

Qualifications

AMT I:

• Airframe or Powerplant license is required
• Airframe license is preferred
• 0–2 years of experience in aviation maintenance, avionics, or similar
• Limited to moderate knowledge of general maintenance aspects
• Technicians require close supervision of general maintenance tasks

AMT II:

• Airframe or Powerplant license is required
• Airframe license is preferred
• 2–4 years of experience working in aviation maintenance
• Experience working on corporate aircraft is preferred but not essential
• Considerable knowledge of the job and general maintenance aspects
• Technicians require general supervision on routine maintenance and more detailed instruction for new or special assignments

AMT III:

• Airframe license is required; Powerplant license is highly preferred
• 4–6+ years’ experience in aviation maintenance
• Experience working on corporate aircraft is highly preferred but not essential
• Full knowledge of general, detailed, and special assignments in aircraft maintenance

AMT IV (Master):

• Airframe and Powerplant license is required
• 6+ years’ experience in aviation maintenance
• Must have extensive experience on corporate aircraft platforms
• Subject matter expert in all areas of the job

Your Sense of Responsibility

• Attend work every day as scheduled to include overtime and weekend assignments
• Notify supervisor in advance of shift starting if unable to work
• Must have reliable transportation to get to work each day
• Perform all work in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines
• Follow all company and safety rules during performance of duties
• Maintain customer-oriented work habits

Physical Requirements

• Lifts 50 lbs
• Routine walking, bending, squatting, or sitting
• Routine or repetitive physical motion with arms and hands
• Climb ladders and stairs, work in small, restricted areas
• Standing for long periods of time

Mental Requirements

• Understanding and implementation of regulations and guidelines
• Troubleshoot or evaluate system operation
• Work with others in a professional manner

Supervision

• Work under supervision of assigned Team Leader and Director of Maintenance
• May be directed to supervise other technicians in some capacity

Working Conditions

• Work is performed in a hangar environment subject to extreme temperature variations from very cold to very hot
• Work outside during aircraft runs will occur
• Varied positions in and around the aircraft

• Personal hand tools supplied by the mechanic
• Pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment
• Jacks, stands, lifts, and other support devices
• Tugs, power carts, and other engine-powered equipment
