Resumes will not substitute for a completed state application. Applications will only be accepted online through the VCCS application system and must be received on or before September 15, 2026. - Then nondiscrimination statement etc. - Then CTE programs list. - Then repeated inclusion statement. - Then Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Additional Information Background Check Statement Disclaimer etc. - Then EEO Statement etc. - Then ADA Statement etc. - Then E-Verify Statement etc. - Then Quicklink for Posting. We need to strip boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. So we should remove the nondiscrimination statements, EEO statements, background check, ADA, E-Verify, etc. Also remove application instructions? The instruction says remove application instructions. So we should not include the "Special Instructions to Applicants" etc. Also remove the "Quicklink for Posting". Also remove repeated inclusion statement. We need to preserve substantive info: job description, responsibilities, requirements, qualifications, skills, pay, schedule, benefits (if any). Benefits: The posting says "part-time position without benefits". So we have a statement about benefits: no benefits. Should we include Benefits section? The rule: include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it — never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g. "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD") and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. The posting states "part-time position without benefits". That's specific content about benefits (no benefits). So we can include a Benefits section with that statement. Pay: The posting states pay rate $15 per hour. Also earlier "The pay rate for this position is $15 per hour." So we have Pay section. Schedule: The posting says "Work Schedule To be determined." Also earlier "Part Time" and "approximately 15 hours/week". Also "Work Schedule To be determined." That's somewhat vague but it's specific: "To be determined." Is that considered filler? It's not "not specified" but "To be determined." Might be considered placeholder. The rule says never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g. "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD") and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. "To be determined." is similar to TBD? Might be considered placeholder. However we also have "approximately 15 hours/week" and "Part Time". That's specific schedule info. So we can include Schedule section with that info. We need to avoid duplication. Use

for section headings. Use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and

for prose. We need to decide sections: About the role (maybe a brief overview), Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We need to map content. About the role: Could be the introductory paragraph about RCC and the Embedded Tutor opening. That's prose. Responsibilities: The duties: providing in-person and virtual tutoring services, using auditory/visual/interactive approaches, examples, scheduling sessions outside class, completing training, communicating with instructors, documenting/assessing tutoring activity, following guidelines, coming prepared, meeting with coordinator, maintaining courteous communication, maintaining student privacy, performing other duties as assigned, assisting in emergency declarations. Also maybe "Special Assignments" etc. Requirements: Could be the KSA's/Required Qualifications: completion with A or B grade, demonstrated competence, strong communication and writing skills, ability to attend assigned course/lab sessions and provide tutoring support outside class hours. Qualifications: Might be similar to Requirements; but we can separate: Qualifications could be education/experience? Not much else. Could be "Completion with an A or B grade for the course(s) in which the Embedded Tutor is assigned." That's a qualification. "Demonstrated competence in the course to be tutored." Also maybe "Strong communication and writing skills." Could be skills. Skills: Could be "Strong communication and writing skills." Also "ability to use auditory, visual, interactive approaches." Also "ability to attend assigned course or lab sessions and provide tutoring support outside class hours." Also "ability to communicate regularly with course instructors." Also "ability to document and assess tutoring activity." Also "ability to follow guidelines." Also "maintain courteous, caring, professional communications." Also "maintain student privacy." Also "ability to perform other duties as assigned." Also "ability to assist in emergency declarations." Might be too much. We need to avoid duplication. Perhaps we can combine Requirements and Qualifications into one? But the instruction says we can have sections for each if they have real specific content. We need to decide. Better to have: - About the role (overview) - Responsibilities (list of duties) - Qualifications (A/B grade, demonstrated competence) - Skills (communication, writing, tutoring approaches, ability to attend sessions, etc.) - Benefits (no benefits) - Pay ($15 per hour) - Schedule (part-time, approx 15 hrs/week, work schedule TBD) We might omit Requirements if covered elsewhere. We must not repeat job title as heading. So no heading for "Embedded Tutor". Use sections as above. We must not include Job ID etc. We must not include boilerplate like EEO, nondiscrimination, etc. We must not include application instructions. We must not include repeated inclusion statement. We must not include contact info? The contact info is part of application instructions? It's contact name, email, phone. That's likely part of application instructions, so remove. We must not include posting number, recruitment type, number of vacancies, dates, agency website, etc. Those are metadata; we can drop them. We must not include "Special Assignments" maybe it's part of responsibilities. We must not include "Additional Considerations" like operation of state vehicle, supervises employees, required travel. Those could be responsibilities or additional notes. Could be included under Responsibilities as bullet points. We need to preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. So we need to keep all substantive info from the posting, except boilerplate. That includes the description of RCC, the mission, the details about part-time, hours, pay, no benefits, tutoring duties, training, communication with instructors, documenting, guidelines, preparedness, meeting with coordinator, maintaining communication, privacy, inclusion statement about AHP? That's part of application instructions? Actually it's about eligibility for disabled applicants; that's not boilerplate? It's a specific requirement for applicants with disabilities to provide AHP Letter. That is substantive info about application process? Might be considered part of "Special Instructions to Applicants". The instruction says remove application instructions. So we should remove that AHP Letter requirement? It's about how to apply for disabled individuals. That's an application instruction. So remove. Also remove the link to request AHP Letter. Also remove the repeated inclusion statement. Also remove the "Service-Connected Veterans may also apply via the AHP if they also provide an AHP Letter." That's also application instruction. Thus we remove all that. Also remove the "Special Assignments May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor." That's substantive duty, keep. Also remove "Operation of a State Vehicle No Supervises Employees No Required Travel Occasional travel between campuses may be required." That's substantive. Also remove "Posting Number WGE_34
