Embedded Tutor - Math

Workweek: 25-29 hours. Flexible schedule to meet department needs, including evenings and weekends.

About the role

Part-time tutor to serve in a co-requisite Mathematics class as a resource for individual students and small groups who need extra support during class activities. Tutors must also be available to assist students before and/or after class time.

Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring support to individual students and small groups during co-requisite Mathematics class activities.
• Assist students who need help before and/or after class time.

Requirements

• Completion of a minimum of 12 college or university credits.
• A certificate in any math-related course will be considered.
• Strong command of the material being taught in the class.
• Excellent communication skills.
