Embedded Software Engineer
About the role
Join the Active Sound Management (ASM) team at Bose Automotive Division and help create algorithms and software for a superlative audio experience in vehicles. The ASM team develops a powerful suite of sound and noise management technologies that enable carmakers to realize their vision by applying active solutions to mechanical problems. These technologies tackle the toughest noise and sound management issues, reducing trade-offs and empowering engineers to deliver in-cabin experiences that transport drivers and passengers.
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will design and implement signal processing software architecture and frameworks/firmware for proprietary algorithms running on multi-core floating point DSPs, SoCs, CPUs, and potentially micro-controllers. You’ll have the freedom to contribute new ideas for software architecture, workflows, and processes for next-generation Bose products.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement real-time embedded software for signal processing applications.
- Develop software architecture and frameworks for proprietary algorithms on multi-core DSPs, SoCs, CPUs, and micro-controllers.
- Collaborate with the ASM team to create flexible, complementary sound management technologies.
