Emb Production Coordinator

About the role

Cutter & Buck is opening a new fulfillment center in Grand Prairie, TX, mirroring its Seattle Fulfillment Center. Employees are the backbone of the company, and we need an Embroidery Production Coordinator to help open and maintain the new facility.

Responsibilities

• Order prep: deliver garments to the Embroidery MOD throughout the day; remove garments from plastic bags, cardboard boxes, or totes (“de-bagging”); lift and move totes and boxes; work systematically and quickly.
• Verify product tags by matching each garment’s SKU number, color code, and size to the work order; count each style/color/size and sign off that the correct quantities are prepared for embroidery machines; maintain close attention to detail and cross-check numbers and letter codes accurately.
• Prepare machines for new logos/runs: use the work order and thread plan to pick required thread colors from the supply area; cross-match thread color numbers on cones to the thread plan; read small thread color numbers on labels accurately; climb short ladders; carry totes of multiple threads between supply and MOD; assist operators with thread setup on machines; return unused threads to supply; may scan orders into routing statuses using an electronic scanner.
• Assist with daily and weekly preventative maintenance of embroidery machines; daily end-of-shift cleanup of the MOD area; assist other departments with trimming, folding, inspection, and scanning work orders.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with voluntary overtime during peak periods. Overtime eligible position.

Skills needed

• Ability and interest in learning to work as a contributing member of a fast-paced production team with a sense of urgency.
• Willingness to help each other meet or exceed quality and production standards.
• Physical ability to lift totes up to 30 lbs and reach overhead to move boxes from pallets to tables for unloading.

• Training available in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese.
• Casual, comfortable work clothes and closed-toe shoes required.
• Work is performed standing or walking for the entire shift.
• Work environment is high energy and dynamic; overtime may be required during seasonal periods.
• Position is located within the climate-controlled portion of the Distribution Center.
