Email Security Endpoint Protection Engineer

Email Security

• MUST Configure, Administer and support enterprise email security platforms such as Proofpoint, FireEye/Mandiant, Mimecast, or Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
• MUST Investigate and respond to phishing, malware, spam, and Business Email Compromise (BEC) incidents.
• MUST Analyze suspicious emails, attachments, URLs, and email headers to identify threats.
• MUST Develop and maintain email security policies, rules, and threat protection configurations.
• MUST Perform email threat analysis and remediation activities.
• MUST Collaborate with Security Operations and Incident Response teams during security investigations.
• MUST Monitor email security alerts and proactively identify emerging threats.
• MUST Tune email security controls to reduce false positives while maintaining effective protection.

Endpoint Security

• MUST Support enterprise endpoint security solutions such as CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, or similar EDR platforms.
• MUST Investigate endpoint security alerts and malware detections.
• MUST Perform endpoint threat analysis and assist in containment and remediation efforts.
• MUST Maintain endpoint security policies and security configurations.
• MUST Support vulnerability remediation and endpoint hardening initiatives.

Security Engineering & Automation

• MUST Develop scripts using PowerShell or Python to automate operational and security tasks.
• MUST Assist in integrating security tools with SIEM or SOAR platforms where applicable.
• MUST Participate in security assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
• MUST Document operational procedures, incident findings, and engineering changes.
