Endpoint Security Engineer

The Opportunity:

Serve as engineer and part of our endpoint security team. Perform updates, upgrades, and troubleshooting to support compliance with specified baselines and client priorities. Identify efficiencies, report progress and challenges, and organize and prioritize work. Design, implement, and manage policies and procedures to ensure server and workstation endpoint security based on McAfee Endpoint Security, including DoD Host Based Security System and Endpoint Security Solutions. Apply advanced advisory skills or extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members.

You Have:

• 3+ years of experience with systems engineering of information systems
• 2+ years of experience managing enterprise endpoint security, including ePolicy Orchestrator, Endpoint Security (ENS), DoD, Host Based Security System (HBSS) or DoD Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS)
• Experience with DoD cybersecurity applications
• Top Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED
• DoD 8570 IAT III Certification

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Trellix or Microsoft Defender
• Experience supporting cloud-based applications
• Experience with MS Windows Server OS and MS SQL Server
• Knowledge of Continuous Monitoring and Risk Scoring (CMRS)
• Knowledge of current and emerging security technologies
• Knowledge of virtual server common architectures and operation
• Ability to convey technical information to management or executive staff
• Ability to organize and prioritize work based on schedule and impact

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Compensation:

Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).

Work Model:

• Onsite: If this position is listed as onsite, work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, where employees will collaborate directly with colleagues and customers as required by the role.
