Description

The Information Technology and Records Management unit of the Human Services and Public Health Department (HSPHD) seeks a Pr. IT Specialist to serve as a technical architecture and database expert in support of enterprise Business Intelligence and Reporting systems.

Requirements

• Must be a permanent or probationary employee of the Hennepin County Human Services and Public Health Department (HSPHD).

Qualifications

• Completed degrees: Two-year college/vocational degree in computer science, management information systems (MIS), or information technology; Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems (MIS), or information technology; Master's degree or higher in computer science, management information systems (MIS), or information technology; None of the above.
• Certifications: None of the above.
• Experience: None; 1 year; 2 years; 3 years or more.
• Duties: Describe experience as an IT professional.
• Informatica Power Center: Yes; Describe experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
• Data modeling: Yes; Describe experience with developing data models with Cognos Framework Manager.
• Report authoring: Yes; Describe experience in report authoring with Cognos Report Studio and ad hoc analysis and reporting with Query Studio.
• OLAP systems: Yes; Describe experience developing OLAP systems in Cognos Analysis Studio.
• BusinessObjects Enterprise: None; 1 year; 2 years or more.
• Business Analyst: Yes; Describe experience as a Business Analyst.
• Technology planning: Yes; Describe experience working with IT staff in creating technology plans that support strategic business initiatives.
• Complex reports: Yes; Give an example of a complex report created using Crystal Reports or other major report generation tools.
