Elevator Mechanic, Repair

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Repair Mechanic to work in the St. Petersburg/Tampa, FL metro area. In this role, you will provide repair services on rack and pinion and some hydraulic elevators, ensuring elevators are in proper working order.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair services on rack and pinion and hydraulic elevators
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical malfunctions
• Follow established safety, maintenance, and testing procedures
• Read blueprints, technical manuals, and related technical documents

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Mechanic
• Experience as a route mechanic
• Previous experience with rack & pinion and/or crane repair is helpful
• Certified Elevator Technician (CET) is strongly preferred
