Elevator Mechanic, Maintenance
Responsibilities
- Inspect elevators of all types and makes, determining the cause of faulty operation.
- Make repairs and adjustments.
- Diagnose deficiencies of equipment and make recommendations for major changes or requirements.
- Install, maintain, and repair elevators, escalators, and other lifting equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues.
- Repair or replace defective parts.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
- Respond to emergency repair calls in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
- Provide excellent customer service to building owners and occupants.
Qualifications
- Successful candidates will possess 5+ years of experience as a Mechanic.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals and/or related technical documents.
- Experience as a route mechanic.
- Ability to follow established safety, maintenance and/or testing procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical malfunctions.
- Previous experience with rack & pinion and/or crane repair experience is helpful.
- CET is strongly preferred.

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to provide monthly service to our customer's elevators ensuring that the equipment is functioning properly. You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctioning systems, repairing or replace defecting parts.
