About the role

We are seeking Preventive Maintenance Mechanics with experience in elevators (residential or industrial) or conveyor belt systems to join our team as Service Crane Maintenance Technicians. Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site preventive maintenance, repairs, and modernizations on electric overhead traveling cranes.
  • Consult with customers on repair and safety-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and breakdowns.
  • Generate sales leads during service calls.
  • Accurately and neatly document work performed on service reports.
  • Handle new crane wiring, assembly, installation, and start-up.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Travel may be required (work vehicle provided).

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of AC/DC theory and ability to troubleshoot 480VAC 3-phase motor control systems.
  • Associate degree or equivalent vocational training/experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on electro-mechanical maintenance experience.
  • Aptitude for both electrical and mechanical environments, with familiarity in related equipment.
  • Willingness to work overtime.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Must pass drug screen and background check.
  • Strong communication skills and proven commitment to safety.
  • Comfort with working at heights.
  • Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and PLC programming is a plus.
  • Crane maintenance experience is a plus.

Schedule

  • 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday.
  • On-call or overtime possible.

Pay

$25–$45 per hour.
