Summary Of The Position

The Ambassador is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to internal and external guests and will serve. You will report to the General Manager of ElevatedNY, and will be located at 1120 Avenue of the Americas. Our ElevatedNY team is central to the member experience. Beyond just a workspace, our top priority is to create a hospitable, welcoming, and fun environment that gets our members excited to come to work each day. As an Ambassador at ElevatedNY, you’ll help to build an engaged and connected community at your location. Your focus on hospitality, energetic and warm disposition, and ability to create personal connections with your members will be paramount in helping each member feel like they’re a part of the ElevatedNY family. We want our members to feel like ElevatedNY is the place where they can be most productive and can meet their full potential. In addition to creating a strong community, you’ll also be focused on operational excellence, and creating workspaces that look and feel amazing. As the face of your location you’ll be the first point of contact for your members. You’ll run point with day-to-day tasks to ensure operational success and help make the member’s experience the best that it can be. You’ll drive member happiness by assisting with all aspects of the ElevatedNY business including operations, events, hospitality, marketing, sales, and much more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hospitality / Reception
    • Be the first point-of-contact and concierge by working at the front desk, supporting members and guests with questions, and providing a welcoming experience for all
    • Greet and provide a warm welcome to all internal/external guests
    • Notify appropriate parties upon guest arrivals
    • Collaborate with Security and assist with registration for visitors
    • Answer, screen and forward incoming calls to members
    • Manage conference room bookings
    • Ensure meeting rooms are prepared for upcoming meetings
    • Understand and demonstrate various reception protocols
    • Provide proactive, warm service that goes above and beyond to keep members happy
    • Plan and execute engaging themed events (i.e. social, wellness, educational) to help members interact with ElevatedNY, connect the community, and foster professional development
    • Develop innovative ways to surprise and delight members to create a unique experience
    • Interact with members daily to help develop relationships, foster community connections, and obtain feedback on product quality, event requests, service levels and overall satisfaction
    • Address member feedback promptly, and loop in the General Manager when needed
  • Operations
    • Manage day-to-day community operations to exceed member expectations and uphold quality and standards of our ElevatedNY space
    • Conduct member feedback analysis to address opportunity areas and create action plans
    • Develop and maintain relationships with third-party partners (building, facilities, F&B, etc.) to ensure efficient and effective operations and oversee completion of work orders
    • Manage pantry and supply inventory and ordering, and partner with mail room
    • On-board and welcome new members warmly by managing their move-in process. Send off former members professionally while managing the move-out procedures
    • Review and submit accounts payable invoices in our internal systems, and identify trends and ways to reduce costs while still maintaining our high standards
    • Ensure education and enforcement of the ElevatedNY policies and procedures for all members
  • Sales
    • Assist GM with new inquiries through website
    • Assist on-site with walk-in tours for events or office 1-5 desks
    • Excite prospects by providing a warm and welcoming environment

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • 2 – 4 years in corporate reception required
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong knowledge of/ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Teams, Excel, Outlook
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • High degree of integrity/confidentiality
  • Outstanding organization, emotional intelligence, cultural awareness, judgment and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm and clear-headed under pressure

Pay

The base compensation range for this role is $55,000 - $65,000. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, as well as access to our comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k) plan (with matching contributions), wellness benefits and all other benefits afforded to full-time Tishman Speyer employees.
