About the role
The Elevate Gap Program at YMCA of the Rockies’ Estes Park Center offers a unique blend of paid seasonal employment in the hospitality industry and immersive outdoor adventures. Participants work in guest services (housekeeping/food service departments), engage in workshops to enhance leadership skills, and participate in service projects and outdoor activities.
Responsibilities
- Work a minimum of 32 hours per week in guest services
- Attend weekly Elevate group activity days
- Participate in workshops to learn about personal superpowers and career paths
- Engage in a multi-day group trip
Requirements
- Must be between 18 and 23 years old
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Open to new opportunities and willing to take risks
- Flexible, dependable, and team-oriented
- Enjoy being outdoors and meeting new people
