Elementary Student Activities - Student Council Leader

About the Role
This is a full-year, 1.0 FTE stipend position focused on leading the Student Council. Students in this activity will build and use leadership skills by planning and participating in school events, fostering school spirit, and cultivating a strong, positive school culture.
Responsibilities
- Apply the tools of CPPS when developing this activity.
- Co-create student activities aligned with the purpose alongside other Elementary Student Activity leaders in the district.
- Ensure meetings and gatherings are inclusive, allowing all students to participate in the activity.
- Organize a student group reflective of the student body population.
- Ensure student participation in the activity correlates with the demographics of the school building.
- Engage in activities both in and outside of the school day.
- Share and celebrate student activities throughout the year.
- Submit activity plans for the school year to be approved by the site principal.
- Communicate activity progress, successes, and areas needing support throughout the year.
