Elementary Principal

Full-time, 12-month position.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree
• Principal Certification
• 7–10 years of teaching preferred
• 3–5 years of supervisory-related or administrative experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as the instructional leader of an identified learning community
• Develop and foster a school climate and culture focused on student learning and growth in academic, social, and behavioral areas
• Lead data analysis, hiring, supervising, and evaluating professional and support staff
• Facilitate and oversee the delivery of curriculum and instruction
• Act as LEA in MDE, IEP, GIEP, and 504 meetings
• Maintain a safe, learning-conducive environment
• Provide vision, leadership, and direction for the effective use of time, space, and resources
• Promote and model communication among constituencies
• Enforce school board policies and guidelines
• Develop and manage a school budget
• Contribute to and deliver professional development aligned with school and district initiatives
• Serve as a role model to the school community

Pay

Salary range: $114,405 – $160,167.
