Elementary Principal

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance student learning and achievement
• Collaborate with teachers to design and deliver effective professional development
• Lead initiatives to improve school climate and promote a safe, inclusive environment
• Oversee the implementation of district policies and procedures
• Work closely with families to support student success
• Assist in the recruitment and retention of high-quality educators

Requirements

• Master's degree in education or related field
• Valid New York State teaching certificate
• Experience in educational leadership or supervision
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders

Qualifications

• Experience in creating and implementing educational programs
• Knowledge of current educational research and best practices
• Experience in managing budgets and resources
• Experience in conflict resolution and mediation

Skills

• Strategic planning and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

Pay

Salary range: $95,000 - $110,000, competitive
