Required Qualifications
- Valid K-12 Michigan Teaching Certificate with appropriate endorsement.
- Prior experience working with elementary level students.
- Knowledge of PE Standards.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive, safe and inclusive classroom.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous classroom teaching experience.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Able to work within a flexible schedule.
- Technology competency.
- Experience coaching interscholastic athletics.
- Passion for promoting lifelong fitness, teamwork and healthy lifestyle habits.
- Able to adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
- Able to blend SEL integration in physical education.

The ideal candidate will have a valid K-12 Michigan Teaching Certificate with appropriate endorsement, prior experience working with elementary level students, knowledge of PE Standards, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
