About the role
Elementary Paraprofessional supporting K-12 alternative-certification classrooms.
Responsibilities
- Assist the classroom teacher with instructional activities and student supervision.
- Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students as directed.
- Help maintain a safe, orderly, and positive learning environment.
- Perform clerical duties such as preparing materials, grading assignments, and recording data.
- Assist with student behavior management and implement individual behavior plans when needed.
- Support students with special needs in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
